Here is a list of questions we recommend you ask your prospective Realtor. The list will not only help you select the right agent, but it will get you the best service from the one you choose:
- 1. HOW MANY YEARS have you been in the Real Estate Business?
- 2. DO YOU work as a full time Salesperson?
- 3. HOW MANY homes have you sold in the past 12 months?
- 4. WHAT AREA do you specialize in? Can you show me a list of your recent sales in that area?
- 5. DO YOU offer any guarantees? What are they?
- 6. CAN I GET OUT of the listing contract if I am not pleased with your services? HOW?
- 7. DO YOU work with another full time salesperon in a team effort to see that no details are overlooked?
- 8. DO YOU have a method for finding buyers? Describe what you do each day to find a buyer for my home.
- 9. DO YOU have your own personal computer with an organized database of potential buyers and sellers? HOW will you be contacting these people regarding my home?
- 10. DO YOU have instant access to the Toronto Real Estate Board 24hrs a Day?

- 18. HOW MUCH TIME and effort are you willing to invest in marketing my home to potential buyers?
